Edition #6: Quiet Work Still Counts

Some months are quieter than others, but that doesn’t mean progress isn’t being made. Lately, I’ve been focused on personal projects, building structure behind the scenes, and continuing to grow even if it’s not always visible.

🚀 Milestones & Moments: Progress & Highlights

I’ve been doing a lot of behind-the-scenes work this month, especially on personal projects to help build my brand and presence. One of the biggest projects I completed was launching my own personal website, and the crazy part is it only took about 24 hours, thanks to AI and a tool called Lovable.

I built this for recruiters who want to stay updated with my progress in real time, and for my followers who want a central place to find my content and stay connected.

In addition to finishing my website, I’ve also been working on something special I’ll be releasing soon: The Youngest in Charge Playbook.

It’s a guide I’m creating for young people who want more out of life and are ready to take control early.

Whether it’s financial independence, mental discipline, or building a strong professional foundation, this playbook is built to help you start strong and stay focused. More to come.

I’m also proud to announce that I’ll be returning to speak at GovTechCon this year. It’s surreal thinking that just last year, I spoke on my very first panel at this same conference, and now, I’ll be on multiple. God is good. Huge thanks to Symone Beez and her team for the opportunity.

Another major highlight is continuing my work as a student ambassador with the BEYA STEM Club, which is run by the BEYA (Becoming Everything You Are) STEM Conference, a national conference that brings in over 25,000 each year.

I’ve really appreciated being part of conversations that matter and getting the chance to connect with others my age on real topics.

If you’re interested in being a student ambassador applying for scholarships or tuning into the monthly show here are a few helpful links to get you started:

On the work side, things are going well. We’re currently transitioning to a new ticketing system, which has been an adjustment, but nothing too difficult since the ticketing system is more AI-based.

I’m also continuing my studies in AI and starting to consider my next certification. I’m weighing options between going deeper with Azure or pursuing the CompTIA CASP+ (SecurityX).

🛡️ Cybersecurity Update: Billions of Passwords Resurface Online

Ransomware attacks continue to rise, and this month was no different.

A new group called SafePay is threatening to leak 35TB of stolen data from Ingram Micro, a major tech distributor. It’s another reminder that no company is too big or too secure to be targeted.

🔒Breach One, Teach One

This month, I covered a variety of cybersecurity topics ranging from SIM swapping protections to data breaches and text scams targeting job seekers. Each video is aimed at helping you stay alert and informed, whether you're just starting in the field or already deep into it.

Here are the stories all explained in one minute:

💪Your Health is Your Greatest Asset

In a world that moves fast, we often forget how powerful our breath can be. Breathwork isn’t just slowing down; it’s a simple yet effective way to calm your mind, ease stress, and boost focus.

A recent study showed that breathwork interventions “significantly reduced self‑reported stress, anxiety, and depressive symptoms” by activating the body’s calming parasympathetic system. (Read the full study here.)

You don’t need meditation or deep quiet to start. Just a few mindful breaths can help restore balance during high-pressure moments or mentally reset after a long day.

Here are a few tools to help you begin:

Take a few minutes today to breathe intentionally; it’s one of the most powerful habits you can build

Question of the Month

When you’re in a season of building quietly behind the scenes, what keeps you grounded? Is it faith, purpose, people, or something else entirely?

📚What I’m Reading This Month

This month, I’m reading “Managing God’s Money by Randy Alcorn.”

It offers practical insights on how to handle money with wisdom, purpose, and a mindset of stewardship grounded in faith.

If you have any book or article recommendations, reply to this email and send them my way. I’m always open to new insights!

On August 9th at 12 PM EST, I’ll be joining other student ambassadors live on the BEYA YouTube channel for Career Day, an open conversation centered around STEM careers, student journeys, and growth in the tech space.

🔹Resource Spotlight: Lovable.dev

Creating a personal site has always felt like a big task, but tools like Lovable make it easy.

Lovable is an AI-powered platform that helps you build websites and apps in just minutes. I used it to build my own site, and it worked well for turning my ideas into something visual fast. You can build from prompts, old presentations, or documents, and the best part is you don’t even need to know how to code or design. The tool is also free.

Sometimes simple is better.
